Humanities – Ancient Greece We shall be finding out about the myths and legends, architecture, everyday life, greek food and farming, the origin of the Olympics, the lives of children, wars and battle strategies, scientists and mathematicians, homes and greek pottery.  We hope to visit the British Museum to see artefacts first hand.

RE Worship in the community & Jesus the sufferer.

 

Art and Design Technology -  We shall be looking at Ancient Greek pottery and painting authentic designs on vases and plates. In DT we shall be creating our own soup recipe to be made and sold at the Christmas Fair as a mini enterprise scheme.

 

PE & Games Netball, hockey gymnastics and dance themed on the Olympics.

 

Science- We shall be finding out about micro-organisms and vaccines.

Later in the term we shall learn how to construct more complex

circuits.
